An example of righteous judgment
Proverbs 31:8-9 "Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."
As born again believers, we are to "open thy mouth" for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. There are many who cannot speak up for themselves in the face of tyranny. That's why we have to speak up for them.
Psalms 37:30 "The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment."
Contrary to the mentality of many Christians out there, we are called to judge: not to judge people, but to judge matters, or to judge those things that people do in the eyes of the Lord by the 66 books of the Holy Bible. An example of righteous judgment would be what John the Baptist said to Herod:
Matthew 14:4 "For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her."
It was not right for Herod to have his brother's wife according to the law. John the Baptist is our example, even though his actions cost him his life. As born again believers, we ought to call out those things as unlawful, even as it is unlawful for the state to push for an experimental gene-altering drug on the public that has been proven to cause death and injuries. It is attempted homicide, and as born again believers, we ought to call it as what it is.
