Can foreign words substitute Scripture?
Foreign words are terms that are not found in the Holy Bible. For instance, I had a question that came from someone on the meaning of "strong meat" versus “weak meat”. Apparently, there are Christians out there who perverted the term "strong meat" and use it to justify their support of corrupted modern bible versions (NIV, ESV, NASB, NKJV, NLT, etc), full of mistakes and perversions.
According to these Christians, "strong meat" refers to "strong word", and the opposite of "strong word" is "weak word". They say that the difference between Christians who use the 1611 King James Bible and those who stubbornly stick to modern bible perversions is a matter of those who prefer the "strong word" and those who prefer the "weak word".
BTW, both these terms don't exist in the Holy Bible. The fact that they are not found in the word of God ought to raise a red flag. These foreign terms are like unto a "mystery" (found 22x in the KJV), having no place in the inerrant and immutable word of God. They can be anything according to the vain imaginations of men.
1 Kings 16:31 "And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him."
Queen Jezebel was a foreign woman married to Ahab king of Israel. She was the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians. Like "mystery", the word "Jezebel" is also found exactly 22 times in the 1611 King James Bible. She was a "strange woman", the prefigure of "mystery" opposite of the "virtuous woman" which is the prefigure of the church.
Referring to the strange woman:
Proverbs 5:6 "Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them."
Her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Likewise, these mystery foreign terms too, can be anything, and thou canst not know them. The Bible calls them "vain words", words that the LORD hath not spoken.
Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
Notice how some men inject their own ideas into the word of God? It is the same in this case where a Christian purportedly inject foreign terms such as "strong word" and "weak word" into the word of God and call it "the truth".
Isaiah 5:20-21 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!"
In a natural body, cancer occurs as the result of one cell's DNA becoming corrupt due to the infiltration of foreign substance. Once that corrupted cell begins to replicate, the cancer tumor grows and consumes the healthy tissues around it. These foreign terms too are words that are like unto cancer, words that "eat as doth a canker" (2 Timothy 2:17). Paul further warns:
Ephesians 5:6 "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience."
The strange woman is the opposite of the virtuous woman, the church. She has the appearance of the virtuous woman but she is not (Proverbs 31:21-22; Revelation 17:4-5). Likewise, the words that proceedeth out of her mouth sounds like it is from Bible, but they are not.
Proverbs 5:3-4 "For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword."
Honey and the honeycomb are likened to the word of God (Psalm 19:10, 119:103; Proverbs 16:24, 24:13-14), and so is a "twoedged sword" (Hebrews 4:12). So the strange woman is not only the mother of all evils in this world, but she is also one that mimics after the word of God! She is the mystery behind Rome, whose symbol is the "Virgin Mary". Not only that, but Rome is also the progenitor of every strange bible (NIV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, NLT, etc), her daughters, that are so prevalent in our current times.
The strange woman is a subtle mimicker. There are Christians out there who say the 1611 King James Bible is the "most faithful translation" but are secretly in love with modern bible versions. Be not deceived by their words. What they really mean is that there is an "invisible order" by which the bibles are ranked: from the most faithful to least faithful translation. Nevertheless, every bible is somewhat a faithful translation.
John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."
These Christians do not actually believe there there is such a thing call "the truth" in a bible translation - the absolute truth. They do not believe that God is able to preserve his word perfectly even in a bible translation. Rather, they believe in a God that can manifest himself in a multitude of different bible versions, even if the words be highly corrupted. They believe in a holy God but not a holy Word despite the opening verse of the gospel of John which says:
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
To these Christians, there is a broad way that leads to the same God, even though Jesus said in:
Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
To these Christians, everybody is automatically a Christian regardless of which bible version they are saved from, as long as they went to the church and prayed the sinner's prayer. How do I know? Because I have been there and done that, and now I am speaking of this in my own experience. Read my testimony of salvation.
Deuteronomy 32:31 "For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges."
There is a "rock" whereby these Christians build their doctrines upon. This is where they are empowered to pervert terms in the Holy Scripture such as "strong meat" and "milk" with foreign words such as "strong word" and "weak word" in order to justify their acceptance of modern perversions as holy and true in the eyes of the LORD. Vain words are cancerous to the faith even as words that "eat as doth a canker" (2 Timothy 2:17). This is also how the devil takes away the word out of the heart (by substitution) lest they should believe and be saved.
Luke 8:12 "Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved."
Yes, even false bibles will tell you to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. But what they won't tell you is that the "Jesus Christ" in those false bibles is not the same Jesus Christ manifested in the pure words of the 1611 King James Bible. To deny the "light" (which is no light) in these modern perversions would be to violate the doctrine of "decisionism" that these Christians hold dear as their way to God.
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
No man can be saved apart from "the truth" that these Christians denieth, and "the truth" is the living God as well as the written Word (John 17:17). One cannot be decoupled from the other. The living God apart from "the truth" is not holy and true, and the written Word apart from "the truth" is not holy and true. Vanity and vain words cannot save.
