The "crab mentality" refers to the way of thinking that can be best described by the phrase "If I can't have it, neither can you." The metaphor comes from a pattern of behaviour seen in crabs when a large number of them are trapped in a bucket. If there is only one crab, it can certainly escape, but in this scenario, despite being able to escape on their own, the crabs grab each other and undermine the other's effort, making sure the group's collective demise.
Matthew 23:13 "¶ But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in."
Theirs is like the Crab Mentality: "If I can't have it, neither can you."
They sought to shut up the kingdom of heaven against others because they themselves could not enter in. They seek to keep people away from the gospel which they believe not and do not understand. This would be like if one crab tries to escape from the bucket, other crabs would quickly grab hold of it to prevent it from escaping so that it would share the same fate as the rest of them.
Romans 9:13 "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."
Jacob is the beloved of God while Esau is hated. Therefore the crab mentality would be the Esau mentality, and the Esau mentality is the collectivist mentality. In a collectivist system, individuals must lose the inalienable right to liberty, and the freedom to think independently. Group interests must come before individual interests.
Genesis 27:41 "¶ And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob."
Notice in this verse that Esau hated Jacob and wanted to slay him. Moreover, it is not an open hate i.e. "Esau said in his heart".
Obadiah 1:6-7 "How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up! 7 All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him."
The "things of Esau" are hidden. The keyword in this passage is the word "confederacy", which is another word for conspiracy. Just like crabs in a bucket, they know to work in a group setting. They know to conspire one with another in a common goal. They come in the name of peace, but it is deceptive, because their hidden intention is to destroy. Just like crabs in the bucket, they hate to suffer one to escape, because their deep-seated will is that all should perish in a collective demise.
The Esau mentality is the crab mentality "If I can't have it, neither can you." They would rather the entire population perish with them than allow some to escape.
Matthew 2:16 "¶ Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men."
The Esau mentality is the mindset of Herod who would rather kill the innocent than suffer one to escape.
Matthew 23:15 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."
The Esau mentality is the mentality of the scribes and Pharisees, who when they make one proselyte, they know to make him twofold more the child of hell than themselves, making it twice as hard for him to enter the kingdom of heaven.
The Esau mentality is a deep-seated hate towards the children of God (Jacob), and while not knowing who is entering into the kingdom and who is not, they would rather destroy all than seeing some obtain a possible future salvation, gaining them entry into the kingdom of heaven. That's the crab mentality, the mindset of Esau, the collectivist mentality behind the mark of the beast (666).
Revelation 14:9-11 "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."
God has made it doubly clear that whosoever shall receive a mark in his forehead, or in his right hand, the same shall be cast into the lake of fire to be tormented for ever and ever. Therefore, the Esau mentality is to make sure that all should receive the mark of the beast (666), that all should perish in the lake of fire, than allowing some to escape from the fate i.e. "If I can't have it, neither can you."
The Esau mentality is a collectivist mentality, and collectivism is a system that values the group more than the individual. Under this system, a ruling authority arbitrarily sets common moral, social and economic aims, and to achieve those aims, dictates the standards and rules by which individuals live and work.
Collectivist creed is often promoted in terms of idealized outcomes: social justice, security, public health and economic equality. Achieving these outcomes, however, requires the progressive destruction of Western Civilization's tradition of human and economic freedom.
For a collectivist system to "succeed", individuals must lose the inalienable right to life and liberty, including the freedom to pursue their individual and independent interests.
Progressivism, socialism, statism, social-welfarism, fascism, communism, socialism, liberalism, totalitarianism, Nazism, and Marxism are various forms of collectivism, and all are tyrannies against the individual.
The way they take over is always first by promising the masses a more equal distribution of resources, but the powers always end up with a small group of people (the State) who misuse it.
Is the COVID19 plandemic a forefront for a collectivist takeover? Why do I say that? A takeover always start off with the public good and welfare at the expense of individual freedoms, and the measures then become more and more extreme, ending in genocide.
It happened to the Jews in WW2 leading to the Holocaust. It happened to the Chinese during the Cultural Revolution. It happened to the Cambodians under Pol Pot, it happened to the Russians under Stalin, and it also happened to the Venezuelans recently. Is the same also happening under our nose?
