Once, I was actively posting on some Christian facebook groups. Not anymore, after they demonstrated their hate towards me. I wrote this on a 06-Feb-2020 facebook post, after I was blocked by the “Twoedged Sword KJV” admin:
I was blocked by the page "Twoedged Sword KJV" for simply commenting that I don't believe in the pre-tribulation rapture theory. They made a video debunking Steven Anderson, and I made it clear to them that I don't believe in pre-tribulation rapture but neither do I agree with Steven Anderson's version of the rapture. They shared with me a link of an article by David Cloud who teaches pre-tribulation rapture, and I did read the article. They commented that I don't understand Scripture because I reject the pre-tribulation rapture theory. I commented that David Cloud's view of the rapture was based on dispensationalism. I reject pre-tribulation rapture because it was based on dispensationalism - a framework of thinking, a philosophy, and not biblically based. I did not reject pre-tribulation rapture because it was taught by Steven Anderson or the Roman Catholic church as they so claimed. In fact, the whole post was about exposing Steven Anderson. It appears to me they hate Steven Anderson because at one point he came strongly against the pre-tribulation rapture theory. I'm all for exposing errors but this post was NOT about exposing Steven Anderson's error. Rather, it was an attack on the man himself, while they took advantage of the opportunity to make new converts. It is a hate post. I also told them that at one point I used to believe in pre-tribulation rapture because it was taught in my previous church, but after I studied Scripture for myself, I reject it. In fact, I only learned about dispensationalism after I studied the pre-tribulation rapture. I told them not to based their belief on persons. The fact that Steven Anderson taught pre-wrath rapture does not make the pre-tribulation rapture true. The fact that the Roman Catholic church taught post-tribulation rapture (unverified) does not make the pre-tribulation rapture true either. Don't discuss people, because it sways judgment. Rather, reason with Scripture. If they want to believe the pre-tribulation rapture is true, make sure it's from the Holy Bible and the Holy Bible alone, not from any thing or any man. But before I knew it, they deleted my comments and blocked me. It came as a surprise to me because I was not rude in my comments, only firm. It is not my style to be rude. Those who read my posts will know. I did not insult or insinuate at them for their beliefs. I didn't even use Scripture against them. It was just a friendly conversation to begin with. So now, all the comments that are left behind for that post are the pro pre-tribulation rapture ones. Now that the dissidents are gone, there is peace at last.
BTW, for those who read my posts, you know I don't censor people who post contradicting views. If I don't agree with someone, it must come from the Bible, and if it is from the Bible, that means I have the verses to show why I don't agree with a particular view or teaching. If that person still disagree with the Bible verses, I'll have a go with him for a few times to explain what I mean with those verses, and if he still insists, then I'll just leave him to comment on his own.
Proverbs 14:7 "Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge."
Well, if the words of the LORD cannot change his mind, neither can I, but his own words will be counted as judgment against him in the last day.
John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."
As far as the word of God is concerned, I do not expect anybody to agree with me in anything that I post, and I am also not here to please anybody or change anybody. I do my own bible studies, and I mind my own business. While I do private message sometimes with people who reads my posts, I don't go to their facebook page or blog and tell them what they should believe in. Never happened.
Amos 3:3 "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"
There are people who visit my facebook page and was active for awhile, and afterwards, fade away. There were some who were openly aggressive towards me even though I wasn't rude in my comments, only firm. Those who read my posts know that it is not my style to be rude, only firm. But the majority remain friends on facebook, even though no longer actively engaged. Then, there are a handful of friends who have been friends with me for years, and are still actively engaged and our friendship just deepened with the years. They are not ashamed to call me their "brother."
Mark 3:35 "For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
We don't necessarily agree in everything. From their posts, I could discern the difference. However, I don't go to their facebook page and correct them openly, even though deep in my heart, I know I disagree with some of the things they share. Instead, I will read their posts and examine my own beliefs from the word of God. Most of the times, it motivates me to create a separate post to show why I don’t agree with a particular view or teaching. But even if I know they are wrong in the light of two or three witnesses from the Bible, I know I could only pray for them in silence, peradventure that they might repent from their error someday. The Bible tells us in these two verses:
2 Samuel 22:36 "Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great."
Psalms 18:35 "Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great."
God was gentle with me when I was in error. Therefore, I cannot be harsh with someone even when I know he or she was in error. On my part, I still continue to post what I believe as the Spirit of God helps me in my understanding of Scripture. I still continue to shine as the "light of the world" (Matthew 5:14) and call out to whosoever passes by my blog or facebook page.
Proverbs 1:20-23 "¶ Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: 21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, 22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you."
If anybody who reads my posts and is in agreement with the things I wrote, it was not me who asked for their support. It was the spirit in them that is in agreement with the spirit in me. Likewise, if anybody who reads my writings, and was offended by the things that I post, it was not me who provoked them to anger. It was the spirit in them which hates the spirit in me.
Wow Max, my heart goes out to you! I KNOW where you are coming from as well. And everything you've said is on the mark.
And as I believe you are aware, we have entered the phase of the threshing as mentioned in the scriptures, especially now after those who've been harpooned ... and I do not know how much you really know about these, so I won't bog you down about what the harpoons really do in the human body & what it means about these people now not being found in the Book of Life ... anymore.
I am very familiar with your stumbling blocks as I must face them myself so I wanna say do not let these get you down cuz if you are being attacked then that means you are doing the Lord's Work.
I pray that the Lord buoys you up in this period of spiritual attacks ... and you must know that it will never get better in fact, they will only increase as time gets closer to the Final Events as mentioned in Revelation.
You're doing good stuff! Keep it comin' cuz you never know when you may be the one that spurs someone's heart to make a change!
I too also don’t believe in pre-tribulation cause when the situation gets out of hand, God’s timing is always perfect to rescue us just in time.
