Is there such thing as a perfect Holy Bible?
Luke 4:32 "And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power."
A Brief Testimony
If God is supernatural, doesn't it make sense if the word of God is also supernatural? It was in the year 2010, the early part of it, when I started to attend church. It was a megachurch, perhaps the largest church in Singapore. The senior pastor of this church was a charismatic figure, and the church was well-known for its wealth and splendor.
As a family, we enjoyed the church services, and every Sunday we would look forward to attend church. To me then, it was just like watching a movie. In fact, we were literally in a cinema watching the pastor preach his sermons on the screen. I enjoyed the worship services the most, as the music was contemporary and the performance was amazing. The worship leaders had voices like professional singers.
So, practically every single week we were in that church, because the flesh loved it. The sermons too, were preached in a very charismatic manner. It was like listening to some motivational speakers speaking to you live. I absolutely loved those sermons, and I would regularly purchase them and listen to them while on my way to work everyday.
So, this went on for the next 3 years, until the early part of 2012, that something happened to me, and I was forced to leave Singapore for a season. That means that I would not be able to attend the Sunday service for the next few months. I was grieved because I loved that church. It was then, when I had nothing to do during my free time after work, that I started to go to youtube and search for things pertaining to Christianity. I wanted to find out more about God. That was when I chanced upon some Christian teachings online that I never knew existed.
I was particularly drawn to teachings about Creation and the End Times. It was also during this time that I started to notice people arguing online about the Holy Bible. This to me was something new, because the megachurch that we attended preach from all kinds of bibles. So, in that sense, every bible is the same. Every bible is the word of God. I started to become curious.
I returned to Singapore after my OJT was over. So, I returned to that church, but I would also visit youtube for topics on Creation, End Times and Bible controversy as these things had piqued an interest in me.
It was in the early part of 2013 when I chanced upon a channel by Pastor Mike Hoggard of Bethel Church, Festus, Missouri. Pastor Mike not only teach things from the Bible about the End Times and Bible Prophecies, but he is even bigger on the topic of Bible controversy than any other topics. I was particularly drawn to his teachings which expose modern version bibles as well as showing us the supernatural numerical patterns that can be found in the King James Bible.
It was mainly by the teachings of Pastor Mike that I was convicted to pick up the King James Bible and study it for myself. I searched the word of God diligently every day. Through much prayers and diligent studies, I am fully persuaded that the King James Bible is the pure word of God. What's so special about the King James Bible? Why am I so adamant about the 1611 King James Bible? The following which I am about to share will answer this question.
God’s Prophecy on Bible Translation
The Holy Bible was given to us in a span of about 2,000 years, from Genesis to Revelation. There were some 40 men who penned the 66 books of the Holy Bible. These were men from different ages and different places. The 39 books of the Old Testament are mostly given to us in Biblical Hebrew (parts of the Book of Daniel and the Book of Ezra are given to us in Biblical Aramaic). The 27 books of the New Testament are given to us in Koine Greek. Yet, the words agree together in one accord and one spirit, and they flow with such harmony and impeccable perfection.
On Bible translation:
1 Corinthians 14:21 "In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord."
In this verse, Apostle Paul was quoting from the passage in Isaiah 28:11 where it says: "For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people." This goes back to some 700 years before in the Old Testament times when God promised to speak to his people in another tongue i.e. Greek in the New Testament. But notice the change: the "tongue" in Isaiah 28:11 has become "tongues" in 1 Corinthians 14:21. Therefore God has promised in the New Testament to translate his words into other languages, and he has done so in giving us the King James Bible in the English language, as well as Bibles in other languages which are also based on the Masoretic Text and Textus Receptus.
Translation of the King James Bible
On July 22, 1604, King James of England announced that he had appointed 54 Hebrew and Greek scholars to produce a Bible, which we know today as the King James, or Authorized Version.
Ecclesiastes 8:4 "Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?"
The King's order was carried out with utmost zeal and knowledge in an orderly manner. Without any question there never has been a greater group of scholars gathered together at one time than the translators of the King James Version.
Proverbs 24:6 "For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety."
The most qualified of the entire English speaking world were summoned. They were all eminent scholars, and they all had great reverence for the Word of God, being wholly committed to its inspiration and infallibility. No one can study the lives of those men who gave us the King James Bible without being impressed with their profound and varied learning. Below are just three examples of what kind of men the translators of the King James Bible were:
JOHN BOIS was able to read the Bible in Hebrew when five years of age! When 14 he was a proficient Greek scholar and for years he spent from 4 o'clock in the morning til eight at night in the Cambridge library studying manuscripts and languages.
JOHN CHEDDERTON knew Greek, Hebrew and Latin as well as you and I know English, and better.
LANCELOT ANDREWS was the overall chairman, who was fluent in twenty languages, the greatest linguist of his day. He spent five hours a day in prayer and was so respected by the kings that orders were given, whenever Andrews was in court, there was to be no levity, no joking.
Originally 54 scholars were on the list but deaths and withdrawals reduced it finally to 47. These men were organized into six groups which were to meet separately. Two groups met at Cambridge, two at Oxford and two at Westminster. Each group was designated a certain portion of Scripture to translate into the English language.
Each scholar first made his own translation, then passed it on to be reviewed by each other member of his group. When each section had completed a book of the Bible, it was sent to the other five groups for their independent criticism. In this way each book went through the hands of the entire body of translators. To guard further against possible errors another committee was formed by selecting two from each of the three companies.
John 18:20 "Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing."
All of the work was done in the open. Then the entire version came before this select group where all differences of opinion were ironed out. It put the finishing touches upon the work, and in 1611 prepared it for the printers. The whole translation took a total of 7 years: from 1604 to 1611.
Has God Finished with His Book?
Psalms 12:6 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times."
Oftentimes, we will come across teachings about the Bible which says that the authenticity of God's words solely belongs to the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek manuscripts. Therefore, to understand the full measure of God's words, we must go back and interpret from those base manuscripts. No doubt these are the very inspired words of God, which BTW, I'm referring to:
Masoretic Text (1524-25 Jacob Ben Chayyim text, 2nd edition of the Rabbinic Bible published by Daniel Bomberg);
Textus Receptus (an edition of the Greek texts of the New Testament established by Erasmus in the 16th century).
But ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Koine Greek are relatively unknown languages in current times. Hardly anybody speak these languages today. This is where we must question:
Has God stopped working after he gave us his words in the form of Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek?
Can God inspire the translators of the Bible so that his words are translated accurately and in faithful adherence to the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek manuscripts?
Has God finished with the Bible after he gave us the Book of Revelation? What about the ordering of the holy Books, the chapters and verse numbers? Are these also inspired?
Job 32:8 "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding."
Ecclesiastes 3:14 "I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him."
Today, we have the Holy Bible in its translated form and its final form. There is an immutable order about the arrangement of the books, chapters and verses of the Holy Bible. Every Holy Bible will have the same number of books, chapters and verses ordered in the same way and the same manner. Who has ordained the order and arrangement of the books, chapters and verses in the Bible? Who is the author of the Bible? Was it God or was it men?
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
There is only one eternal truth, and the eternal truth is the word of God, and the same is God. While the original languages of the Holy Bible are not English, can God inspire the translation? Today, we have the Holy Bible in its translated form and final form. Who translated the Holy Bible for us? Was it God or was it men?
Consider this, that there are only two places in the entire Holy Bible whereby we find the word "inspiration":
Job 32:8 "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding."
2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
Therefore, every word in the Holy Bible in its translated form, even the format of the Holy Bible, was inspired by God. God was the one who owns the translation of the Holy Bible. He was the one who inspired the translators of the Holy Bible so that his words are translated accurately and in faithful adherence to the manuscripts in the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek languages.
The Original Holy Bible
1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."
Do you know that the term "Holy Bible" was first used on the title of the first edition of the 1611 King James Bible? God is an "author" according to this verse, but he is not the author of confusion.
According to wikipedia:
The title of the first edition of the translation, in Early Modern English, was "THE HOLY BIBLE, Conteyning the Old Teſtament, AND THE NEW: Newly Tranſlated out of the Originall tongues: & with the former Tranſlations diligently compared and reuiſed, by his Maiesties ſpeciall Comandement".
It is no coincidence that the word "holy" is found exactly 611 times in the King James Bible. The number 611 = 1 x 611 bears the pattern of the number 1611. The Holy Bible is every word of God. The 1611 King James Bible is every word of God. This number pattern is God's signature written on his holy word with his finger. Amen.
Exodus 31:18 "¶ And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God."
God wrote his testimony on two tables of stone (Old Testament and New Testament). This also goes to show that God's word is not just an idea. The words of the LORD are like words graven in the stone: never to be changed, added or removed for eternity.
Job 19:23-24 "Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! 24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!"
The term "the finger of God" is found exactly 4 times in the King James Bible. In fact, God wrote on 4 tables of stone in total. Moses broke the first two (Exodus 32:19), and God wrote another two for him (Exodus 34:4). The words of the LORD are graven in stone. Just like how he has left his signature on the two tables of stone, God has also left his signature on the two Testaments that he has given to us in 1611.
Every Word of God
Consider the linkage between these verses:
Deuteronomy 8:3 "... that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live."
Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."
These verses are witnesses one to another. There are exactly 3 verses in the 66 books of the Holy Bible where the same words are repeated. This goes along with:
2 Corinthians 13:1 "This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established."
Do the math:
Add the chapter number: 8 + 4 + 4 = 16;
Add the verse number: 3 + 4 + 4 = 11;
Combine the two: 16 and 11.
1611 was the year where the King James Bible was officially published.
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
The Holy Bible is "the truth" with us. This term "the truth" is found exactly 87 times in the King James Bible. The book of Deuteronomy is the 5th book, Matthew is the 40th book and Luke is the 42nd book of the Holy Bible. If we do the sum: 5 + 40 + 42 = 87. The 87th chapter of the Holy Bible is Exodus 37.
Exodus 37:17-24 “And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same: 18 And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof: 19 Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick. 20 And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers: 21 And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it. 22 Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold. 23 And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold. 24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.”
The translation of the King James Bible was announced on July 22, 1604. Someone did a count on the number of items on the candlestick. What is in the golden candlestick? There were:
1 shaft and 6 branches, or 7 lamps;
22 sets of 3 items consisting of a bowl, a knop and a flower.
The pattern of July 22, 1604 is embedded in this configuration. First of all, there are 1 + 6 = 7 lamps consisting of one shaft and six branches going out of the sides thereof. Exodus 37:17-18 even tells us how the 7 lamps are to be divided in a 1 + 6 configuration. 1 + 6 also bears the pattern of 16 and July is the 7th month of the year. Secondly, there are also 22 sets of bowl, knop and flower in the golden candlestick: within the number 22 is the pattern of the number 4 embedded i.e. 2 x 2 = 4. Do you now perceive the pattern of July 22, 1604 embedded in the configuration of the golden candlestick? Moreover there are also 22 x 3 = 66 items on the candlestick. There is that pattern of the number 66 again! 1604 was the year the King James Bible began and 1611 was the year when the King James Bible was completed, and the whole translation process took a total of 7 years (1604 to 1611).

The King James Bible does not stand alone by itself but was the culmination of six English bibles before it. If we consider the lineage of the King James Bible:
Tyndale Bible (1525)
Coverdales Bible (1535)
Matthews Bible (1537)
Great Bible (1539)
Geneva Bible (1560)
Bishops Bible (1568)
King James Bible (1611)
Psalms 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."
The Two or Three Witnesses
Sometimes when I studied the words of the LORD in the King James Bible, I came across some interesting patterns which point to the King James Bible as the pure word of God. For example:
Psalms 16:11 "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
Notice the chapter and verse number which bears the pattern of the number 1611. There is both a Book and a Man now at the right hand of God. He is the King of kings and the LORD of lords, and his name is the Word of God. Moreover, all forms of the word "path" (path, paths, pathway) are found a total of 66 times in the King James Bible!
Matthew 6:11 "Give us this day our daily bread."
Jesus Christ is the bread of life (John 6:48) and he is also the Word of God (John 1:1). He quoted from Deuteronomy 8:3 in Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4 that "man shall not live by bread alone". Notice the chapter and the verse number 6 and 11 bears the pattern of the number 1611 in the form of 1 x 611. This verse is also part of the Lord's prayer:
Matthew 6:9-13 "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
Count from the start of the prayer ("Our Father...") to the end of the prayer (... Amen). Notice there are exactly 66 words. That is the number of books in the canon of the Holy Bible!
Ezra 6:11 "Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this."
There is a curse on whoso shall alter the words of the LORD. Likewise the chapter and the verse number 6 and 11 bears the pattern of the number 1611 in the form of 1 x 611. The King James Bible is under Crown copyright which means that as long as the English Monarch stands, the copyright remains i.e. it cannot be altered, and no new copyrights may be issued.
"To be copyrightable, a derivative work must be different enough from the original to be regarded as a 'new work' or must contain a substantial amount of new material. Making minor changes or additions of little substance to a pre-existing work will not qualify the work as a new version for copyright purposes." --- The Derivative Copyright Law.
The New King James Bible (NKJV) is copyrighted by Thomas Nelson Publishers. Do not confuse the NKJV with the KJV --- the NKJV is not a revision of the KJV. It is altered enough from the original KJV in order to make it copyrightable.
Where is the word ‘Bible’ in the Holy Bible?
I was asked by someone what the Bible has to say about "whirlwind". I have attached here a picture of a whirlwind. Notice I've also made a scribble of the shape of the whirlwind, which is like unto a fibbonacci spiral. In many of my posts, I have discussed about fibbonacci numbers and their relation to the word of God. In nature, we see many remarkable patterns, and in all these patterns, they have something common in them: fibbonacci numbers embedded within. The whirlwind too, is no exception. In fact, the Bible has much to teach us about whirlwind.
Job 40:6 "Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,"
Job 38:1 "Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,"
God answered Job out of the whirlwind. The LORD was in the whirlwind which is shaped like a fibbonacci spiral. Today, the LORD answers us from the 66 books of the Holy Bible. I remember someone asked the question: "Where is the word 'Bible' found in the Holy Bible?" None, but the equivalent word/phrase used in the Holy Bible is "scripture(s)" or "the word of God". In fact, there is a Greek reference for the word "Bible" and it is found in Revelation 6:14 the word "biblion" which means "a scroll":
Revelation 6:14 "And the heaven departed as a scroll[Greek: biblion] when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places." [Count: 23 words]
The only other place in the King James Bible where we find the word "scroll" is in:
Isaiah 34:4 "And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree." [Count: 43 words]
Add the number of words in these two verses: 23 + 43 = 66. There we have the total number of books found in the canon of the Holy Bible. Are all these numbers and patterns just coincidences? What are the chances?
Whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever
John 8:31-32 "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
The Lord Jesus Christ has defined for us very clearly in this passage where "the truth" is found i.e. the truth cannot be found in any other books except the 66 books of the Holy Bible. There is a supernatural order that we can perceive in the 66 books, 1,189 chapters, and 31,102 verses of the pure words of the LORD which no man can duplicate.
Luke 2:47 "And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers."
This is how a real Bible will testify to the hearers of the word.
Job 33:5 "If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up."
God is the divine Author of the Holy Bible. He was the one who inspired each and every word in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. There is a unique order in the orchestration of the words of the LORD which is given to us in 3 different languages (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek), and then translated into hundreds of other languages and printed in the billions of copies. All of them are of the same order and arrangement.
Ecclesiastes 3:14 "I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him."
God was the one who sets the order of his words before men, that they should fear before him.
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
The Word of God came and appeared in bodily form, and he was with his disciples. Likewise, the words of the LORD (the volume of the 66 books of the Holy Bible) is with us to this day, without which, no man can come unto the Father. God has promised that he will give us the volume of the book that is written of his Son Jesus Christ:
Psalms 40:7 "Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,"
Hebrews 10:7 "Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God."
God has also promised that he will preserve this book from this generation for ever.
Psalms 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."
God has kept his promise, and he has done so by giving us the Holy Bible in the English language, the King James Bible. It is no accident that English is the most spoken language in the world. People from different continents all over the world know English.
Do not Interpretations belong to God?
Software: https://www.purebiblesearch.com/
The 1611 King James Bible is the interpretation of the Old Testament (Hebrew, Aramaic) and the New Testament (Greek) in one language (English). How did that happen? I don't know, because that was the mystery of God unfolding and revealing itself to the world in the process of time. What do you see in this pattern? While 1611 is the year the King James Bible is published, this phrase "the will of God" is found exactly 22 times in the King James Bible.
1 Corinthians 14:27 "If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two[Hebrew, Greek], or at the most by three [Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic], and that by course; and let one[English] interpret."
Today, perhaps very few people in this world will understand biblical Hebrew, biblical Aramaic or biblical Greek. If they do for Hebrew, chances are they don't know Aramaic or Greek. But God has interpreted these unknown tongues for us using one language, and he has preserved the volume of his words and ordered them in one canonical form, in the final form that we have today.
Genesis 40:8 "Do not interpretations belong to God?"
Of course. Absolutely! Amen!! My friends, the degree to which you perceive the Holy Bible is very important. In fact, it is as important as the difference between heaven and hell. How do you view the word of God? Do you have a high view of the Holy Bible that you are reading? Do you have a low view of the Holy Bible that you are reading? Or, do you view your Holy Bible as your very life? Is God not the most High? Is he not the most High in your life? To me, it is not enough to just have a high view of the Holy Bible, and this is where a lot of Christians are struggling at. The Holy Bible is the perfect word of God: every letter, every number, every word, every book, every chapter and every verse numbering, the order and arrangement of every word and number precisely and accurately used, divinely inspired, preserved and translated. God is the sole Author of the entire Holy Bible for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.
