Liberalism Exposed
Isaiah 32:5 "The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful."
Isaiah 32:5-7 "The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. 6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. 7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. 8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand."
Notice there are two "liberals" mentioned here in this passage: the true liberal, and the false liberal. There is a true liberal and a false liberal, as much as there is a tree of life, and a tree of knowledge of good and evil. Isn't it amazing that in current times, we also have a group of people who refer themselves as "liberals"? It is no accident.
Isaiah 32:5 "The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful."
This verse tells us that the “vile person” used to be called a “liberal”.
Isaiah 32:6 "For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail."
The same vile person called “liberal” will speak villany. The word villany came from the word “vile”.
Job 18:3 "Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?"
Vile means “as beasts”. Like his father, the Devil, the vile person called “liberal” will seduce with lying words. Frowardness is in his heart. He deviseth mischief continually. He soweth discord. He practice hypocrisy as did his father the Devil who befriended Eve only to betray her with his lies. He “utter error against the LORD” i.e. he lie against the truth.
Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."
The word of God is truth (John 17:17). Jesus compares the truth to “bread”, and bread (word of God) is food for the soul. In making people believe in a lie, the vile person (false liberal) makes empty the soul of the hungry.
John 7:37 "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink."
The word of God is living water from the “fountain” (33x in KJV) Jesus Christ, who was crucified at 33 years of age. Therefore in lying against the truth, in causing people to believe in a lie, the vile person who called himself “liberal” caused the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Psalms 107:5 "Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them."
The consequence of depriving the soul of the word of God (food and drink to the soul) is that it will faint. It becomes weak, feeble, dejected and depressed. A weak person is easily pushed around.
Jeremiah 31:11 "For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he."
Psalms 18:17 "He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me."
The reason why Jesus Christ came is to be a ransom for mankind, to redeem us from the hand of the Devil, who is stronger than us. The Devil is the god of this world:
2 Corinthians 4:4 "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
His heart has been from the beginning to exert rule over mankind as our god. Paul tells us that the minds of men have been blinded by him i.e. the Devil has influence over our minds and power over our thoughts. It is all about control, and Liberalism is all about control. It is no accident that today, we have a group of people who call themselves "liberals", who seek to exert control over everything in the name of liberating the poor, the weak, and the outcasts of the society.
Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
Liberal hypocrisy is in calling evil good, and good evil, and putting darkness for light, and light for darkness. While pretending to be the good guy, Liberalism has imported tyranny and oppression to where it dominates.
“There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of law and in the name of justice.” - Charles De Montesquieu
In fact, Liberalism is found in churches too, where the need for social acceptance and political correctness has superseded the love of the truth, making the word of God of none effect in a sinner's life. That is “Liberal Christianity”, the dominant face of Christianity in Singapore and other parts of the world today. While Liberals adopt the "I do as I please" attitude, it is basically:
"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" - Aleister Crowley, Satanist
At the end of the day, it's always about me and my definition. All the free speech, freedom, tolerance, truth, love, justice, and righteousness talks are nothing but hypocrisy.
Isaiah 32:5 "The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful."
The same “vile person” was also called a “churl”. The fake liberal called “churl” was said to be bountiful when he was actually not.
Proverbs 22:9 "He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor."
A true liberal has a bountiful eye. He is generous and kind. He giveth his substance liberally to the poor. The churl is the opposite of a true liberal. In 1 Samuel 25:3, Nabal the husband of Abigail was described as “churlish”. This man literally refused any form of assistance to David and his men when they approached him for help.
1 Samuel 25:3 "Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb."
Notice the part after the colon (‘:’) which says Nabal was churlish and evil in his doings? Nabal was the opposite of Abigail a woman “of good understanding”. Therefore churlish means “without understanding”.
Jeremiah 5:21 "Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:"
This goes along with the meaning of “vile” in:
Job 18:3 "Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?"
A churl is a vile person. Just like animals, they have eyes, and see not; they have ears, and hear not. These are men and women without understanding. In fact, there is a second witness in:
Job 39:13-17 "Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? 14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, 15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them 16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; 17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding."
The reason why abortion is rampant among liberals is because of their beast-like nature, and a beast is without understanding.
2 Peter 2:12 "But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;"
According to Peter, these people speak evil of the things that they understand not. Moreover, they also corrupt that which is holy and true with their evil words. Jude says the same thing, but a little differently:
Jude 1:10 "But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves."
They lie against the truth in speaking against the things which they know not. But the things which they know naturally, these are the things which they call good.
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
The 66 books of the Holy Bible is foolishness unto them. The wisdom of God is contrary to them as light is to darkness. On June 28th 2006, Obama gave a speech to the Call To Renewal Conference, where he openly mocked Jesus Christ and attacked the Holy Bible:
Isaiah 32:7 "The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right."
An instrument is a tool, and that by which work is performed. For example in:
Romans 6:13 "Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God."
The members of our body are instruments. They can either be deployed for evil as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, or for good as instruments of righteousness unto God. The members of the churl are evil. He deploy them to devise wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
Proverbs 19:21 "There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand."
Devices are counsels in a man’s heart. They are borne out of a desire to achieve something. There is a purpose to every device, and they usually come as a result of great deliberation of thoughts. For example:
Psalms 10:2 "The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined."
In every group, there is always a form of hierarchy, whether visible or invisible. The danger in Liberalism where emotions rule over reason is that they are especially vulnerable to be manipulated by evil people at the top. In his book, Propaganda, Edwin L. Bernays who pioneered the application of his uncle’s theories to advertising half-truths argued that “scientific manipulation of public opinion is the key.” He stated, “A relatively small number of persons pull the wires which control the public mind.” So, it is not difficult to see how the big group has become an instrument of evil for a tiny minority of elites at the top, the wicked “...to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10).
