This post continues from where I have left off at Pharaoh King of Egypt (Part 16), where I have discussed at length how the mystery of iniquity is at work to flood churches all over the world with modern bible versions. This is one of the things they are doing. Their aim is to have the word of God taken away from the churches, because the Spirit of the LORD always accompanies the word of God. Where the word of God is preached, that’s where the Spirit of the LORD is, and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty.
Genesis 6:3 "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."
The Spirit of the LORD will strive with man, and that’s how tyranny in the form of oppressive governmental powers and abuse of authority is kept in check. Noah was a “preacher of righteousness” according to 2 Peter 2:5. What was he doing before the Great Flood of Genesis 7? He was preaching God’s righteousness while building the ark, and it was righteousness by the Spirit of the LORD that evil was kept in check. However, the time will come when God will no longer strive with man, and then he will send forth his judgment.
Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
This verse tells us how important it is for righteousness to be exalted in a nation. In a nation where preaching of the word of God is forbidden or prohibited, or where open preaching is scorned at, be sure that that is also a nation where the general citizenry are put under the yoke of a tyrannical government. Moreover, in a country where sin is given a free pass, you can be sure that righteousness is also being actively suppressed. Why? Because righteousness is the antithesis of sin. It is God’s righteousness that is keeping sin under control. It is the Spirit of the LORD that is keeping “that Wicked” in check.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"
The mystery of iniquity doth already work, but verse 7 tells us that God is the one who allows the evil to happen, until such a time when the Spirit of the LORD be taken out of the way, and then “that Wicked” would be revealed. BTW, all forms of the word “righteous” (righteous, righteously, righteousness, etc) are found exactly 555 times in the 1611 King James Bible, the same number of times the word “Christ” is found in the same Holy Bible. This goes to show that righteousness is the antithesis of sin, as much as Jesus Christ is the antithesis of that man of sin, the son of perdition; “that Wicked” who wants to sit in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
Notice how he “opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped?” The word “opposeth” in this verse is the reason why that man of sin, the son of perdition is also called the “Antichrist.” The word "antichrist" in the New Testament Greek language means "an opponent of the Messiah." The dictionary also gives us the meaning of the two words "anti" and "christos." The word "anti" means an opponent and substitute while "christos" means the "messiah.” Putting these definitions together we find that the antichrist, while being opposed to Christ, is not openly opposed, but rather a deceiver and substitute for Christ, a counterfeit of the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 1:1-14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
A proper understanding of the identity of the Antichrist must begin with knowing what the Holy Bible tells us who Jesus Christ is. John tells us that Jesus was the Word from the beginning, the Word made flesh and dwelt among us. The Word made flesh is the Spirit of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible who came in the form of the Son of man Jesus Christ (“the Lord is that Spirit” — 2 Corinthians 3:17). Contrast this with:
1 John 4:3 "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
Jesus is come in the flesh in the gospel books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. John gives us the proper definition of an “antichrist” in these two verses. The antichrist is a deceiver who confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, putting doubts on the gospel account of the birth, life, death and resurrection of the Son of man.
1 Corinthians 15:12-14 "Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain."
The resurrection of the dead is one of the “foundations” in the doctrine of Christ according to Hebrews 6:1-2. That’s why we see the spirit of antichrist constantly putting the doctrine of the resurrection of the dead to question. In fact, we also see the attack coming from dispensationalism and preterism, and it is no accident that both teachings specifically attack the doctrine of the resurrection of the dead. Well, if they can make you doubt in the resurrection of the dead, then they can make you doubt in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and if Christ’s resurrection is questionable, then the written word of God is also questionable, and your faith is in vain.
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
If the written word of God is not the way, the truth and the life, that means there is another way and another truth and another Christ to God the Father. Therefore the spirit of antichrist, while pretending to be the Spirit of the LORD in modern bible versions, works in subtle opposition to “the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6) by giving the church another Jesus, another spirit and another gospel, as in:
2 Corinthians 11:3-4 "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."
Verse 3 is a warning to all Christians. It is a warning against what the Devil will do to you, even as he had done to Eve in the garden of Eden in Genesis 3. His aim is to corrupt your mind from the simplicity that is in Christ. Why then did John say the spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is the spirit of antichrist? To answer this question, let us go back to what Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 11:3, which is basically what the Devil did to Eve in the garden of Eden:
Genesis 3:1 "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"
Notice how the Devil started with the question “Yea, hath God said?” Unbeknownst to the woman (Eve) at that point, that was a subtle attack on her faith by introducing doubt in the words that the LORD hath spoken. Likewise, the Devil is doing the same things today, by introducing doubt in the words that the LORD hath preserved and translated for us. Well, if the words of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible cannot be trusted, then Jesus Christ did not come in the flesh — it is as simple as that.
Today, there are many teachings out there which attack the veracity of God’s words especially in the doctrines of preservation and translation. The generally accepted mindset in Christendom today is that God did not preserve his words perfectly unto this generation. Then, there are also churches which teach that God only managed to preserve his words perfectly in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, but he did not inspire the translation of his words. Therefore what we have in the English translation today is an inferior version of God’s words, and so there is an urgent need to go back to the ancient languages, and we must all look up to the “experts” and the “scholars” to help us get there. It is the same old trick that the Devil is using on the church today by first convincing them to doubt God’s word. When the church begins to doubt God’s word, even by a little, the Devil has undoubtedly gotten an inroad into it. Little by little, as the deception builds up, their faith in the written word of God will be eroded more and more.
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
The Devil knows how to wear out the saints of the most High. He is a serpent. He moves in imperceptible steps. He operates in stages. He knows that a change can only develop by taking one imperceptible step at a time. Each change must be layered on top of what already exists and integrally wired to it. One inch forward will lead to another. One victory achieved will compound on another. He knows to leverage on the power of "false witnesses," and his false witnesses are those false bibles that came out of the Vaticanus and the Sinaiticus. Little by little, that is how he works to permanently change the truth of God into a lie, by taking one imperceptible step at a time, and by the time his victims are aware, they would already have been tightly coiled in the deathly grip of the great serpent. It is too late.
Romans 1:25 "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."
The Devil wants to “change times and laws.” He wants to change the truth of God into a lie, and Daniel 7:25 tells us that he shall wage a war against the body of Christ, the church, which is the “pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15) to wear them out. The word “wear” tells us that the Devil’s plan is to gradually change the truth of God into a lie.
Psalms 18:4 "The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid."
By persistence, the Devil will gradually wear out the saints of the most High through the false teachers, false doctrines and false bibles he caused to be flooded into churches all over the world. Just like floods, those antichrists ministers pretending to be “ministers of righteousness” (2 Corinthians 11:15) teaching from their antichrist doctrines using antichrist bibles that work to wear out anything that stands in its way, and there is no stopping of the erosion. BTW, the word "water" is found 396 times in the 1611 King James Bible, and the number 396 = 6 x 66 bears the pattern of the number '666.' Remember, their ultimate goal is to change the truth of God into a lie. It is the written word of God they are after. If the Devil could convince you that the bible you have trusted all your life is not holy and true, then Jesus Christ did not come in the flesh. You have believed in vain. That is the Devil setting you up as a candidate for the “falling away” which should happen according to 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain."
Well, if there is one difference between a Christian who believes that the 1611 King James Bible is the perfect word of God, inerrant and infallible, and another Christian who reads from modern bible versions, it is in the words they perceive as scripture. A King James Bible believer believes that every word in the 1611 King James Bible is the word of God, but a modern bible version believer believes that there is no such thing as a perfect, inerrant and infallible word of God. Furthermore, he believes that the 1611 King James Bible is erroneous (the degree of which differs from person to person), and because of this perception, he does not fear the words of the LORD in the King James Bible or any other bibles for the matter.
Deuteronomy 4:10 "Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children."
No serious Christians who read from modern bible versions will say that the NIV or the ESV or the NKJV are without mistakes, whether they will admit to it or not. How do I know? Because there are no NIV-only or ESV-only or NKJV-only groups out there. Those same Christians will also say the same about the 1611 King James Bible: that it is neither inerrant, nor perfect nor infallible. In so saying, they have inadvertently revealed the absence of the fear the LORD in them. How does a person fear the LORD? According to Deuteronomy 4:10, it was because he heard the words of the LORD that he learned to fear the LORD. Therefore, if a Christian does not fear the words of the LORD, he does not fear the LORD. If he does not fear the LORD, it does not actually matter what the bible says about the resurrection of the dead. Anyway, he could never fully trust in any of the bibles which he professes to be erroneous.
1 John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
John tells us that “he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ” is antichrist. Likewise, the 66 books of the Holy Bible is “the truth” (John 14:6) whereby the Spirit of the LORD is embedded. Which part of the truth do you believe, and which part of the truth do you reject? In fact, to deny any of the written word of God is to deny that Jesus is the Christ. That man is a liar and an antichrist. Likewise, if any Christian who “opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God,” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) even the words of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, he is a liar and an antichrist who wants to sit in the temple of God (his own body) shewing himself that he is God. To continue in Part 18.
