Psalms 2:2 "The Kings of the Earth"

I would like to start by quoting from this passage of scripture:

Psalms 2:1-3 "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us."

Notice that verse 1 is actually a question: “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?” It describes how the heathen, the general citizenry of this world, are moving with “rage” (irrational and violent anger; fury; wrath), and how they are imagining a “vain thing” (things having no real substance; empty; void; worthless; fruitless; deceitful; delusive). The whole world is crying out violently: the people are raging without a cause, because they are without knowledge of the truth. The antonym of raging is calm according to this verse:

Luke 8:24 "And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm."

The people of this world are as the raging of the water. They are not calm, because there can be no peace without the knowledge of the truth (Jesus Christ). The bible calls Jesus “The Prince of Peace” in Isaiah 9:6, and he is also “the truth” in John 14:6. In a synonymous passage of scripture, Jesus rebuked the wind and said unto the sea, “Peace, be still,” and the wind and the raging of the water ceased, and there was a great calm:

Mark 4:39 "And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

There can be no peace without the Prince of Peace. Without knowledge of the truth, the people can only imagine a “vain thing.” Vain things are things that do not last, as opposed to the immutable truth, the words of the LORD that endureth forever. The general citizenry of this world are without knowledge of the truth, the written word of God in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. That’s why they are easily tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, just like what Paul tells us in this verse:

Ephesians 4:14 "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;"

This verse is a reference of what we read in Psalms 2:1-2, how the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing. Paul tells us how the children of this world are tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, like the raging waves of a violent sea, as opposed to a great calm we read in Mark 4:39. Moreover, Isaiah tells us in this verse:

Isaiah 33:6 "And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure."

Notice it is by the wisdom and knowledge of the word of God that we may have stability at all times, as opposed to what Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:14, how the children of this world are tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine. How is that so? What is the cause? Paul reveals that in the later part of the verse: “by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” The psalmist tells us in Psalms 2:2 “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed.” It is the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world together in one big conspiracy. They are the ones responsible. They are the “wind,” the invisible hand tossing the children of this world to and fro with the falsehood and lies they invented, causing them to imagine a vain thing, like what Psalms 2:1 tells us.

Why are they doing this? The bible tells us in this verse:

Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

Since the fall of mankind in Genesis 3, there has been an enmity between the Devil and the woman, and between his seed and her seed. In fact, we have a reference of Genesis 3:15 in:

Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

That was the Devil who went to make war with “the remnant of her seed,” the church of the living God which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The enmity is between the Devil and the woman, and between the serpent’s seed (the beast) and the woman’s seed (Jesus Christ). We have a picture of that in:

Revelation 19:19 "And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army."

Everything that has been happening according to Psalms 2:1-3 will ultimately culminate in the battle of Armageddon where the beast, the kings of the earth and their armies will be gathered together to make war against Jesus Christ and against his anointed in the day of the Lord, that “great day of God Almighty” according to Revelation 16:14. But before that great and notable day of the Lord comes, the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world will continue to wage their war against the LORD and against his anointed using the falsehood and lies they invented, which according to Ephesians 4:14 “… by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” It is a war against the mind first and foremost, and it is also a war between two nations and two manner of people.

Genesis 25:23 "And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger."

The two nations and two manner of people are represented by Jacob and Esau. Prophesying of Esau, Isaac said:

Genesis 27:40 "And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck."

This verse tells us that the time shall come when Esau shall have dominion over Jacob, that he shall break his brother’s yoke from off his neck. In fact, we find a connecting passage in Psalms 2:3 “Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us,” referring to the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world. That is also the bible’s way of revealing to us the spiritual identity of Esau as the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world, as opposed to Jacob whom God loved:

Romans 9:13 "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."

Jacob is the spiritual nation whom God loved, and Esau is the spiritual nation whom God hated. Psalms 2:2-3 reveals to us Esau’s plan to break his brother’s yoke from off his neck: how the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world conspire to achieve that. BTW, all forms of the word “band” in Psalms 2:3 “Let us break their bands asunder… ” are found exactly 66 times in the 1611 King James Bible. That is a hint that it is the truth in the 66 books of the Holy Bible that they are after. That is also congruent with what we have studied in the earlier part of this post, how wars will be fought with the lies and falsehood that the wicked have invented, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Until Esau shall have the dominion, it will not be an open aggression, and the elder will pretend to serve the younger. Obadiah tells us that the things of Esau are hidden:

Obadiah 1:6 "How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!"

The reason why the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world conspire is because the things they do cannot be done in the open. That’s why Obadiah 1:6 tells us to search it out. What they do must be hidden from the public, because if it is exposed, it is going to result in some unwelcome consequences. Their plan must be hidden from the people so that they will always have an upper hand. The war must be waged in secrecy without their true intention being made known to the people, so that they will be able to catch them unawares. Paul used the term “mystery of iniquity” in this passage of scripture:

2 Thessalonians 2:5-8 "Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"

The hidden things of Esau are already at work in preparation of the appearance of “that Wicked,” that man of sin, the son of perdition of Thessalonians 2:3 in his time. The time will come when Esau shall have the dominion, that his brother’s yoke shall be broken from off his neck: that the Spirit of the Lord shall be taken out of the way. In fact, we have a picture of that in the story of Samson and Delilah.

Judges 16:19 "And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him."

The seven locks of hair on Samson’s head is a picture of the seven horns on the Lamb (Jesus Christ), which are the seven Spirits of God according to this verse:

Revelation 5:6 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."

How did Samson lose the seven locks of hair from his head? The bible tell us it was Delilah who first made him to sleep upon her knees, and then she got a man to shave off the seven locks of hair from off his head. Delilah is a picture of the strange woman in the book of Proverbs: the opposite of the virtuous woman, a figure of the church of the living God. By making the church go asleep, that was how the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world subtly gain dominion over God’s people. We have a reference of that in the Parable of the Tares and the Wheat:

Matthew 13:25 "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way."

It is only when God’s people are asleep, when their eyes are closed to the written word of God, that the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world could come and sow tares among the wheat, without them knowing. The enemy’s aim, according to Psalms 2:3, has always been to “break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” When the seven locks of hair were shaved off from Samson’s head, his supernatural strength departed from him. That was when his enemy, the Philistines, had the mastery over him. Likewise, when the seven Spirits of God shall be taken out of the way according to 2 Thessalonians 2:7 “… until he be taken out of the way,” that will be when Jacob’s yoke shall be broken off from his brother’s neck, that Esau shall have complete mastery over his brother Jacob, that the kings of the earth shall have complete mastery over God’s people, so that that man of sin, the son of perdition “who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” according to 2 Thessalonians 2:4. BTW, that latter part of 2 Thessalonians 2:8 is a reference to Daniel 8:25, referring to that “little horn” who shall stand up against the Prince of princes (Jesus Christ) but shall be broken without hand, the same “Wicked” whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

Daniel 8:25 "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."

This verse also tells us that mass destruction will come in the name of peace. Notice it is “through his policy.”

Government is a means by which organizational policies are enforced, as well as a mechanism for determining policy. Policy is a principle or protocol developed to guide decisions, a settled method by which the government and the affairs of a nation are administered under a system of management. It is a deliberate system of guidelines implemented by the government to be adhered to for particular situations, such as during a pandemic outbreak, officially agreed upon and to be adopted by governing authorities and business organizations all over the world. The government is the body where the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world present themselves to the world. Jesus Christ is both the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) and “the truth” (John 14:6). The enemy will come in the name of peace and in the name of truth, and shall destroy many through the government. Wars will be waged against the people in the name of peace and safety. The Parable of the Tares and the Wheat tells us that the tares will grow together with the wheat until harvest time.

Matthew 13:28-30 "He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

There will be a gathering of the tares and the wheat at harvest time, but until then, the tares will grow together with the wheat. God’s people are mixed in with the rest of the people in this world. Jesus tells us in Matthew 13:39 that “the reapers are the angels.” That means that even the angels cannot tell the difference between the tares and the wheat before the harvest time. This knowledge is a mystery, even to the angels. The wheat are hidden among the tares. That’s why the whole world is getting the affliction from the enemy. In fact, we have a picture of that in Matthew 2:1-17, how Herod sought baby Jesus to destroy him, and baby Jesus being hidden from him, he would rather slew all the children that were in Bethlehem from two years old and under, just to make sure he don’t miss baby Jesus. Likewise, the Devil will punish the whole world just to make sure he won’t miss a single child of God. Moreover, the kings of the earth through the Devil also knew to deal wisely with God’s people:

Exodus 1:8-10 "Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: 10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land."

Their fear is that God’s people will multiply and become a threat to them. Since ancient times, the greatest threat to a monarchy has been the people. That's why they have retreated into the background and made it appear that their monarchs are only there in name but the power belong to the people. This is not so. These “kings of the earth” are still very much ruling the world from behind the scene. In fact, they are probably more powerful than ever. In order to neutralize the threat from the people, they knew to weaken them, both physically and spiritually.

“Football, beer, and above all gambling, filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.” — George Orwell, 1984.

In Bill Cooper’s words:

“It’s the Roman Circus. What does the Emperor do when the people become resistive and when the people are asking questions and when the people don’t like the policies of the Emperor? He sends them to the circus. He creates a circus. He builds a giant Colosseum, and he begins to throw the Christians to the lions, and he has great races and football games and basketball games, all to keep the idiots preoccupied with things that don’t mean anything in the scheme of the entire world. So, they don’t have time to learn what the truth is. So, they don’t ever get smart enough to learn how they are being manipulated. So they don’t ever question the Emperor. That’s why they pay a player on a football team or a baseball team a million or two million or three dollars a year. It is the Roman Circus. I know men who don’t know anything in the world except who plays third base for the Mets, and they think that’s a great accomplishment, and they meet and pat each other on the back and bond and go have cocktails and talk about what this guy that plays third base for the Mets did in last night’s game. It’s sad.”

The kings of the earth knew to keep people occupied with sports, beer, gambling, television, computer games and all kinds of entertainment. They knew to indulge the people with junk food and make them obese and physically weak. They were the ones who own the common education system, and they use it as a tool to brainwash and indoctrinate kids from a tender age. They also own the mainstream media, using it as a means of spreading government propaganda or for covering up the truth. They knew to mess the people up mentally and make them voluntarily cause harm to their own bodies via food and lifestyles, and when they get sick they knew to poison them medically in the name of healing. They knew to fluoridate our water supply. They also knew to inject poisons into their bloodstream in the name of saving their lives, all the while selling these things as “good” and “beneficial” for the general citizenry. It’s actually a Romans Circus, like how Bill Cooper described it. Their aim is to keep people away from knowledge of the truth, to make sure the general citizenry will never be smart enough to learn how they are being manipulated, so that they could continue to impose tyranny.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

Denial of the truth, even though it doesn’t change the facts, is necessary if the lie must continue. The lie must continue, if the tyranny must continue. That's why the kings of the earth and the rulers of this world must do everything within their power to repress the truth, because it is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, their greatest enemy. The general citizenry must be mentally conditioned to call evil good and good evil, so that they are heavily predisposed to reject the truth for a lie.

Isaiah 5:20 "¶ Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

“Why can’t people see the truth?”

Yuri Bezmenov 1939-1993 was a KGB informant and disinformation expert who defected to Canada. He is best remembered for his anti-Communist lectures and books in the 1980s. According to Yuri:

“Exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell him nothing, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures… he will refuse to believe it. That’s the tragedy of the situation of demoralization.”

Once people’s morals have been debased, education becomes indoctrination, entertainment becomes hypnotism, criminals become leaders, and lies become truth. Hence, the truth will become an offense to them because of the deceptions attached to certain arguments that have been subtly planted in their minds, causing them to preconceive lies as facts, and good as evil. That’s why the bible warns us in Daniel 8:25 that mass destruction will come in the name of peace. That can happen when the general citizenry have been mentally conditioned to identify evil as good and good as evil, so that they are highly predisposed to choose evil over good, just like what happened to mankind in Genesis 3. There is a “woe” on them according to Isaiah 5:20. The kings of the earth knew to make people voluntarily walk into the snare by themselves. They knew to deal deceitfully with the people, just like in ancient times, during the time of Moses. They are also the ones operating behind the WEF, the UN, the WHO and other global entities. Using these proxies, they've hijacked power from sovereign governments and installed policies that oppress the nations, all the while, the people said nothing. Yielding the law as a weapon, the kings of the earth conquer their grounds without much of a resistance from the people.

Paul tells us in this verse that the church is the pillar and ground of the truth:

1 Timothy 3:15 "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."

The body of Christ, the church of the living God, being the pillar and ground of the truth, is the “light of the world” according to Matthew 5:14. Light will shine in darkness, dispelling any lies and falsehood that the kings of the earth use to control the people, and by that extension, should be the greatest enemy of the State. The kings of the earth knew that, and therefore it is not a surprise that the “World Council of Churches” was established in 1948 as an important part of the conspiracy they rule the world. They knew to replace the church of the living God with their synagogues of Satan, so that they could hijack the truth and replace it with a lie. Since the 19th century, there has been a strategic hijacking of Christianity taking place in our midst. It was started by the Rothschilds who had a plan for world dominion. They knew they had to first eliminate the billions of Christians, whom they saw as their main obstacle. They also recognized that the best way to prevent the billions of Christians from opposing world tyranny, was to convince them that their own bible predicted this reign of evil.

Back then, the Rothschilds attracted a criminal lawyer who specialized in forgery, named C.I. Scofield. This convicted expert in fraud created the famous Scofield Study Bible, with footnotes that introduced new theology which taught that the world will be ruled over by evil. The Scofield Reference Bible was printed in the thousands upon thousands and sent freely to thousands of young pastors, many of whom graduated from Jesuits seminaries, to spread this new mindset all over America, from whence, was exported to the rest of the world. As a result, innumerable believers today believe that the current invasion of evil in our world is a “fulfillment of Bible prophecy” and they simply allow that to happen. This also goes to show how the kings of the earth did not just infiltrate health care, governments, media, education and finance, but also religion. No doubt some very powerful people are playing God, working to bring the prophecies in the bible to pass according to the system of false doctrines they have invented. What they are doing is to bring about disorder and confusion to the whole world, so that out of this chaos shall birth a new king, and a “New World Order.”
