Paul tells us in:
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 "And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; 12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing."
Let me say this… As far as the word of God is concerned, I do not expect anybody to agree with me in anything that I post, and I am not here to please anybody. I do my own bible studies, and I mind my own business. While I do interact with people who read my posts, I don't go to their facebook pages and tell them what they should believe in. Never happened.
Amos 3:3 "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"
That also means that if anybody who read my posts and was edified by the articles I've shared, it was not I who asked for their support. Rather, it was the spirit in them that is in agreement with the spirit in me. Likewise, if anybody who read my posts, and was offended by the things that I wrote, it was not I who provoked them to anger. It was the spirit that is in them which hates the spirit that is in me. There is a spiritual warfare going on, just like what Apostle Paul tells us:
Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
My calling as a born again believer is not to wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. Though unseen by the eye, there is a fierce battle raging on for the souls of men on earth. But until our eyes are open to the written word of God, we will never perceive this reality, which is more real than our physical existence.
Psalms 120:7 "I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war."
The psalmist tells us in this verse that "words" are a weapon of war. Moreover, born again believers are called to "put on the whole armour of God."
Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Why? Because there are dark spiritual forces out there that come in the form of words. Just like how the Holy Bible is called "the word of truth" (Ephesians 1:13; James 1:18), evil spirits also present themselves as "wiles of the devil," and we are called to guard against them by putting on the whole armour of God. Devils will operate through flesh and blood, using words as weapons. Unless we have put on the whole armour of God (every word of God in the 66 books of the Holy Bible), we cannot possibly stand against those lethal weapons of war meant to destroy us.
Those that does not agree with what you wrote, they do not have the Holy Spirit working in them. God bless 🙏☺️
I stumbled upon your stack while looking up information about CI Scofield, and as you are well aware, a truly pernicious ideology has infiltrated and subverted the body of Christ these last two centuries. That others would take offense to what you have written, which is largely just a restating or a direct quoting of the clear and unadulterated Word of God, shows how deeply they have been led astray by that deceiving spirit.
Regardless, your writing has been very edifying Max and I appreciate your work.
