The Snare of Political Correctness

The enemy does not want people to talk about him or anything pertaining to his dark works. The church is the “pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). To stop the church of the living God from exposing his works, he creates fake churches that look like real ones. In doing so, he accomplished at least two purposes:

1. He successfully stopped real Christians from taking a stand against the things he does using fake churches.

2. He uses the fake church as a weapon against the real church.

Political Correctness is an atmosphere fomented by taking advantage of mass reaction to certain events politicized as insulting or discriminating against particular group(s) of people. It is a mind control mechanism by which mass opinions are skillfully and masterfully directed towards supporting the dark agendas of the manipulator(s) plotting behind the scene.

Political Correctness is a powerful weapon in the Devil's hands, and it is now destroying whatever little truth that is remaining in our politics and media. Likewise, in the planting of fake churches, the Devil is using that invisible hand of Political Correctness to destroy the church of the living God, which is the pillar and the ground of the truth. Political Correctness is that invisible hand that is stopping the truth from being spoken!

Zechariah 8:16 "These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:"

Political Correctness is to coerce people to a corner and leave them with no choice but to take the politically-correct stand. In not speaking the truth one to another, it is no wonder why there is no peace in the world today! Moreover, the evil of Political Correctness is to instill fear in the hearts of men.

Proverbs 29:25 "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe."

The fear of man will bring a snare. Political Correctness is a tool used by the wicked and the government to oppress, and oppression will cause the hearts of many to fail for the fear of man.

Psalms 10:15-18 "Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. 16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. 17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: 18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress."

The psalmist tells us in this passage that there is a “man of the earth” that oppress. The Bible calls him “the wicked and the evil man”.

Psalms 140:1-3 "Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man; 2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. 3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah."

The “man of the earth” is the body of the wicked. Political Correctness is a mischief which the wicked have imagined in their heart, and they are “gathered together” (conspired) for war against mankind. Notice: “… they have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips.” This is in essence what Political Correctness is about.

Psalms 35:11 "False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not."

Using false witnesses, Political Correctness works to lay charge to the innocent without a cause, to accuse them with things that the wicked have mocked up in their imagination. With tongues sharpened like a serpent, and adders’ poison under their lips, the “man of the earth” will use falsehood as a proxy of the truth (in the name of “science”) to oppress others, and to coerce them into submission.

Exodus 23:2 "¶ Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:"

Political Correctness is to speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment. It necessarily involves the majority, and the Devil will use the vast majority to force others to bend to his will.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-8 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;… 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:"

The “man of sin” is that “Wicked” according to Paul by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, which the psalmist calls “the man of the earth” in Psalms 10:15-18. Referring to the man of sin:

Daniel 8:25 "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."

The word “policy” has the same root meaning as the word “politics”. Therefore, the “man of the earth” will be a man of politics. Yielding the law as a weapon, he will cause wickedness to prosper in his hand, and there will be no obstruction. That is tyranny at its very height. That's why he "... by PEACE shall destroy many". That is the false peace that comes with “Political Correctness”.

The fear of man will bring a snare. In another words, the “man of the earth” will instill fear in people so as to cause them to fall into a snare. True safety is only found in the instructions of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. That is why born again believers who trust in the words of the LORD, and obey them, will be safe from the snares that the wicked has laid for them.

Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

Born again believers fear the words of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible more than anything else, and that is the source of our strength that enables us to endure oppression, and to overcome the fear of man. In not fearing, we speak the truth in love one to another.

Ephesians 4:14-15 "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

While the lost world is tossed to and fro, deceiving and being deceived, the children of God shine among them as lights of the world, speaking the truth in love. Born again believers are by no means push-overs, but are men and women “valiant for the truth upon the earth” (Jeremiah 9:3). Jesus promised us in a great multitude of faithful witnesses:

Matthew 10:39 "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."

Matthew 16:25 "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."

Mark 8:35 "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it."

Luke 9:24 "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it."

Luke 17:33 "Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it."

John 12:25 "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."

It is true that in speaking against the politically-correct narrative, born again believers may pay the price for it. The punishments may include ostracization by friends and family members, being discriminated by members of the public who themselves are under oppression of the “man of the earth”, or even up to death for speaking the truth (as in the case of Stephen in Acts 7). It is for the gospel’s sake that born again believers must continue to speak the truth in love, and in doing so, expose the falsehood of the wicked. God promise us in his word: “whosoever putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe” (Proverbs 29:25).

Proverbs 8:35 "For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD."

Romans 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"

Born again believers who are not afraid to speak the truth in love have the favour of the LORD upon them. If God be for us, who can be against us? If God be for us, even the Devil himself cannot be against us. Proverbs 28:1 “… the righteous are bold as a lion.” That’s why born again believers are fearless people who do not fear what men will do unto them. We only fear what God will do unto us.
