This was a post I’ve shared on facebook dated 13-April-2021:
Noah was a "preacher of righteousness" during his time (just before the Great Flood of Genesis). What was he doing? Preaching God's judgment?
Genesis 6:13 "And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth."
In fact, for the last 120 years before the Great Flood, Noah has been preaching the coming judgment to everybody around him. He was telling everyone that God's judgment was about to descend upon the whole earth, yet no one believed him.
Genesis 7:7 "¶ And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood."
According to this verse, Noah waited until the very last moment, when the waters came, before he and his family went into the ark. No one believed him even until the very last day. True enough, the Great Flood came according to the words of the LORD.
Luke 17:26-27 "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all."
Yet, to the very last day, people were still busy eating, drinking, marrying wives, and given in marriage, and they paid no heed to Noah's warning. As a result, the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Today, how many churches are like Noah, the "preacher of righteousness?" How many Christians are like Noah, preaching God's judgment to everyone around them?
Psalms 37:30-31 "The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide."
I have been approached by other Christians who basically said that all my posts and messages are about judgment after judgment after judgment, and they don't like it. Well, these are the Christians who hate judgment and they themselves won't take up the job of preaching righteousness.
In fact, in every charismatic church you go, you will hear them preaching God's grace and abundance, and in every dispensational church you go, you will hear them preaching safety (pre-tribulation rapture). As a matter of fact, I have not come across a charismatic church which is not dispensational in their doctrines.
John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."
While they pretend to be born again believers, they won't do the work of a born again believer, as in:
Ezekiel 33:31-32 "And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. 32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not."
These are Churchians, not real Christians, for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after covetousness: busy eating, drinking, marrying wives, and given in marriage. They hear the judgment of God, but they don't believe it, for if they have believed, they would have done the works of Noah.
