Pharaoh King of Egypt (Part 19)

This post continues from where I have left off at Pharaoh King of Egypt (Part 18), where I have discussed from scripture how the Devil using philosophy as a weapon against the word of God, to promote false doctrines which teach that God has somehow failed to preserve all of his words for us, every word of God, lending to the excuse that man’s scholarship now has an important place in trying to recover what God really said in those “original manuscripts” so-called. Paul warned us in:

Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."

Philosophy is a collection of general laws, principles, framework of thinking or reasoning, under which all facts related to a subject are to be made subordinate to it, even scripture. For example, dispensationalism is a philosophical framework that undergirds the interpretation of scriptures. Man’s philosophy teaches that the oldest manuscript is best manuscript; the language of the 1611 King James Bible is archaic, obsolete and irrelevant; the gospel remains unchanged in modern bible versions; modern bible versions are updated and better versions of God’s words; and that God’s words are still evolving, etc. All these are biases and opinions of men, false doctrines, malpractices, evil rites and customs that have been passed down from generation to generation, only to be regarded by their followers as sacred and cannot be violated in any form or manner. These are vain deceits disguised in the form of philosophy meant to deceive or mislead, theories such as Textual Criticism: while pretending to do good for mankind, is actually working to turn the church away from the truth to go after a lie, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Well, if it is “not after Christ,” then it is after “another Jesus” (2 Corinthians 11:4) pretending to be the Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible.

2 Corinthians 2:17 "For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ."

As I have shared in my last post in this series of messages, that is the spirit of antichrist working to corrupt the word of God. To corrupt the word of God means to take that which is holy and true, and change it into a corrupted form. Jesus tells us in:

Matthew 6:19 "¶ Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:"

If the word of God is treasure, then the moth and the rust would be the spirit of antichrist seeking to corrupt the word of God. That would be the spirit of antichrist working to consume the word of God in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, until none holy and true be found in it. That was what that has been happening since the evolution of modern bible versions which began in the late 19th century. Moreover, Paul tells us that “their word will eat as doth a canker,” as in:

2 Timothy 2:17 "And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;"

Canker is another word for “cancer.” According to the Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary (1828), it is a disease that causes the bark of a tree to rot and fall off. In a human body, it is a virulent disease that corrodes, corrupts or destroys anything that stands in its way, until the whole body be consumed. Since Genesis, it has always been the Devil trying to corrupt God’s words by introducing doubt. Doubt is like cancer. Once you begin to doubt one part of the Holy Bible, it won’t take long before the doubt consumes whatever faith you have in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Devil knows that in order to destroy your faith, he must first sow discord between you and the source of your faith — the 66 books of the Holy Bible. His weapons are philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Little by little, the lies will work to “wear out” (Daniel 7:25) whatever faith you have in the words of the LORD. Little by little, that’s how the Devil works to change of truth of God into a lie, and change the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like unto corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things, as in:

Romans 1:23 "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

Notice the contrast of opposites in this verse? If “uncorruptible God” is a reference to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, then “corruptible man” would be a reference to that man of sin, the son of perdition who wants to sit in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God, the spirit of antichrist working to replace the Spirit of the LORD in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. The Devil does not want that “uncorruptible God” sown in the form of the word of God to reign in your heart. Rather, he wants that “corruptible man” to continue reigning in you so that he can continue to have a handle over you, to enable you to do his will, and to cause you to walk away from the narrow path which leadeth to life, unto a broad way which leadeth to destruction, just like what he did to mankind in Genesis 3. Today, he is doing exactly the same thing, albeit in a different manner and setting.

Luke 12:1 "… Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy."

It all started with a “leaven,” which was promoted under the name of scholarship, and the cause was to recover the “lost words” that God has failed to preserve in the no-where-to-be-found “original manuscripts.” That was where the idea of the “oldest and best” manuscripts was first sprouted, and that was where they got the handle to bash the 1611 King James Bible, finding fault with the manuscripts and the language, all the while putting out corruptible modern bible versions which they claim to be translated from their most updated Critical Text revision under the best scholarships of the day.

Daniel 2:9 "But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof."

Brother King Nebuchadnezzar said it correctly. Those are “lying and corrupt words,” just like the lying divinations and interpretations of dreams that his band of magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and Chaldeans were capable of in ancient times. These are things, which according to Paul in 2 Timothy 3:5, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. The words that we receive in our hearts will produce the fruits that we will bear in the process of time, just like the seed of the word of God, when sown in the good ground of an “honest and good heart,” (Luke 8:15) will bring forth good fruit with patience. Likewise, when “lying and corrupt words” are sown instead of the word of God, they will also produce fruits, but corrupt ones.

Luke 6:43 "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."

A good tree which comes from a good seed of the word of God will bring forth good fruit, and a corrupt tree which comes from a corrupt seed will bring forth corrupt fruit. That is why Paul tells us in:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

Paul specially mentioned “the last days,” because it will take time for corrupt seeds to become corrupt trees, and for corrupt trees to bear corrupt fruits, that these things will manifest themselves in their fullness in the last days. This passage of scripture tells us that men shall be: [1] lovers of their own selves, [2] covetous, [3] boasters, [4] proud, [5] blasphemers, [6] disobedient to parents, [7] unthankful, [8] unholy, [9] without natural affection, [10] trucebreakers, [11] false accusers, [12] incontinent, [13] fierce, [14] despisers of those that are good, [15] traitors, [16] heady, [17] highminded, [18] lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. What happened to mankind? What caused them to manifest such degree of corruptness in the last days?

Matthew 15:3-6 "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition."

Jesus tells us in this passage of scripture that the scribes and Pharisees used “tradition of men” (Colossians 2:8) as a substitute for God’s commandment, making the commandment of God of none effect to their followers. Having in itself a form of godliness, traditions of men were used by the Devil as a tool to deceive, and to cause to doubt the commandments of God in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. Likewise, having a form of godliness, the corruptible words in modern bible versions were also used by the Devil as a tool to deceive, and the goal is to make the words of the LORD of none effect in a person’s life. When the incorruptible words of the LORD no longer has a hold in one’s life, he remains a “corruptible man.” The lying and corrupt words he receive in his heart only serve to feed the “corruptible man” in him, even as the pure words of the LORD is bread for the “new man” (Ephesians 4:24) in a born again believer, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. That “corruptible man” has another identity in:

Romans 6:6 "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."

He is our “old man” which was crucified with Christ when we were born again by the Spirit of God. Moreover, this old man belongs to the “body of sin,” so that when he is crucified, the body of sin might be destroyed that henceforth, sin no longer has a hold on us. That is something which happens when we received the words of the LORD, and the new man was formed in us.

1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

John tells us that the new man in a born again believer is incorruptible. When the incorruptible new man was formed in us, the corruptible old man was also at the same time crucified so that we became new creatures in Christ. Corruptible words are no longer tasty to a born again believer, who only desire the “unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Corinthians 5:8) which came down from heaven. On the other hand, lying and corrupt words are “bread” for the old man.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

This is the corruptible man who received not the love of the truth that he might be saved, and “the truth” is the written words of the LORD that he hath preserved for us in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, every word of God. That’s why they hate the 1611 King James Bible, because it is not “bread” for them. Rather, they desire the leavened bread of modern bible versions (NIV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, NLT, MSG, etc) which feed the old man in them. At this point, I would like to share a testimony which was recently shared to me by a sister-in-Christ on how someone by the name of John Hinton who used to study at Harvard Divinity, was converted to KJV-Only. His testimony shows us how much those teaching and studying at the Harvard Divinity hated the 1611 King James Bible.

Testimony: How I came to be KJV-only.

“As a masters student at Harvard Divinity, and later in the Near Eastern Language Dept. students often asked what Bible they should use in their classes. The answer was always, "It doesn't matter," however, it was clear that they all hated the King James, and the NRSV was actually the preferred Bible since Harvard had a part in it. I will say that the actual language scholars had nothing good to say about the NIV, but many students used it. I knew something was wrong when the Div School hated the KJV, without ever giving an example of where it went wrong. These were Christ-hating heretics who never even mentioned his name except when being derogatory. They were Wiccans, far left socialists, lesbians, sodomites, Episcopalian reprobates, New Agers, far left catholics, transexuals of both sexes, abortion activists, the most extreme of feminists, sissy males, unprofessed atheists and agnostics, and only a few showed any respect for anyone who differed from them. They even referred to Jesus as the "J word." There were also Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists among the student body. When I returned to Christ after years of being a prodigal son, it was obvious to me that the modern versions spoke to these heretics and demon-infested swine for a reason, and since the KJV repelled them, that the KJV was the only true Bible. I then researched it quite thoroughly. It saddens me how many people who claim to be guided by the Bible lack the discernment to see through the modern version scam, and who follow the lead of such wicked schools as Harvard Divinity, and countless others that are just as bad, and some that are even worse. I was sent this postcard in a letter, I'm not sure where it is on the building, but I'm sure that it wasn't there when John Harvard was alive.” — John Hinton

The above is a symbol found in the Andover-Harvard Theological Library. Notice it features an archangel holding a masonic all-seeing eye? What is this symbol representing? What is it telling us about Harvard Divinity?

1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."

Believers are born again, “not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible” by the word of God they have received, which liveth and abideth for ever. If it is the gospel of modern bible versions that they have received, it would be made up of corruptible words that are subject to man's scholarship. Those would be words that have failed the test of time and truth, and those would be words that will pass away with time, which means that God did not author those words because Ecclesiastes 3:14 tells us that “whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” God is not the author of corruptible words. Rather, it was men who blasphemously took upon themselves to play God. Yet, the great majority of churches today still fell for the bible scam. Unbeknownst to them, that was the “mystery of iniquity” (2 Thessalonians 2:7) at work to take the Spirit of the LORD out of the way, to make way for that man of sin, the son of perdition, also called the Antichrist.
