Do I believe in supernatural miracles? Yes, I do, as much as I believe that the words of the Lord in the 66 books of the Holy Bible are God's way of giving us the supernatural in natural form, just like Jesus himself, God the Son who came into this world fashioned in our likeness.
There are plenty of miracles recorded for us to read, both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Some Christians believe that miracles are a thing of the past, and they have ceased to exist in the present. What about the miracle of inward conversion from an unbeliever to a born again believer? Isn't that the operation of God? What about this passage of scripture:
Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
Don't try to reinterpret the plain and simple meaning of this passage of scripture. It clearly says when we ask of God, he will answer our prayers. When we ask of God in faith with a believing heart, believing in his words preserved for us in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, he will answer our prayers according to his will for us, and God is still answering prayers to this very day!
Psalms 28:7 "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."
Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
For a born again believer, his help comes from above. God is his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. While it may not appear to the natural eye the supernatural things that God has done in our lives, we have to acknowledge that whatever outcome of our prayers is God’s will for us, and he alone will bring it to pass according to his will for us.
1 John 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."
Below is a testimony of someone who encountered a miracle:
“Last year a Doctor looked me in the eyes & said I had a molar pregnancy - that there was no heart beat and no baby.
I stared back at her, choking back tears and said, "Is there any hope?"
No.
That was her answer. She suggested a D&C or that I allow my body to miscarry naturally, probably around 12 weeks.
My husband and I left with broken hearts after trying to get pregnant and going through a previous miscarriage.
I prayed. I sought counsel. I prayed. But never did I hope. Hope felt out of control - if I hoped and there was no miracle then I would suffer even more pain and heart ache.
But God taught me two things in that season.
Hope puts our trust in a God who is able to hold the most fragile of hearts and protect it.
Hope gives the reigns to God and teaches me to say - your will, Lord, and if not what I hoped for, then I believe you are still God and still good, using it for the glory of your name and with a hand that will comfort me in a way that I would have never known.
That God is God, the only Author of Life. That He creates and He knits together what cannot be seen or known to man.
Four long days passed and a different doctor at a different practice wanted to take a look.
I looked at the tech as she started the ultrasound and told her not to worry - that she didn't have to deliver the bad news because we already knew.
And before I could blubber out the rest of the diagnosis, she said, "there's the heart beat."
Today I hold my son in my arms, knowing that what man could not see or do, God could see and create.
God is the Author of life, the one in whom our hope is secure.
If you are struggling with hope - let me pray for you. That God would refresh your heart and lead you into a depth of knowledge of Him that holds you in complete peace.”

For me personally, God has manifested his miracles after miracles in my life in a very tangible and perceivable way. Below is a testimony I have written that shows what God has done for me. Truly, God is my very present help in the time of trouble. I would never be able to do it alone.
That story is so awesome! I love the perspective. Thanks for sharing it.
