There are many things in Preterism that I don't believe in. Below is just a sample:
Preterism teaches that the Law was fulfilled in AD 70 and that the “new heavens and new earth” spoken of in Revelation 21:1 is just symbolic under the New Covenant. They argued that just as a Christian is made a “new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17), so the world under the New Covenant is a “new earth.” I don't believe that.
If I have to classify myself, I think I am more of a Historic Premillennialist. I don't believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, but I believe in a literal 1,000 years reign after the 2nd coming of Jesus, and a literal new heaven and new earth. I also believe that God's elect people on earth will go through tribulation until the last day, at which point Jesus Christ will return.
I really enjoyed your article. I have studied The Book of Daniel and the History leading up to it. Following the 4 blood moons. The 70 weeks are extremely significant for the completion of 7 throughout scripture. The New Covenant is something that most believers don’t quite understand and I have to say, I myself am still learning how significant all of this has been for all humanity. Seems to have more and more significance as new writings are being made to the public and so far it has further convinced me of the Plan for humanity as spoken in the scriptures, not the opposite as science has hoped to prove their theories
“12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit." Psalms 51:12

Hmmm but there are 73 books in the Catholic bible (72 if the Lamentations are not separated from Jeremiah)…
I only use the 1611 King James Bible in all my bible studies, because I believe the translation of the 1611 King James Bible is inspired.
I use the Douay Rheims
Question: are you of the preterist persuasion?

So glad to hear. This is my view as well. It’s what the book, “The Great Controversy “, in my understanding, says.
BINGO! That is exactly where I am. Thank you
